Serenity Now Wellness focuses on mindfulness meditation – a Buddhist tradition that motivates the mind to remain in the present, raising awareness of your own thoughts and behaviors, so you can assess them in a non-judgmental way. Mindful meditation seeks to focus your mind, rather than trying to empty your mind. The Serenity Now Wellness team also uses cognitive therapies, which focus on identifying dysfunctional thoughts, emotions, and beliefs.

Since many mental health problems originate from distorted thought processes, it is possible to change behaviors by changing how we view particular thoughts in order to improve behaviors.
