Kelly holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and is currently serving clients at Serenity Now Wellness as a Mental Health Therapist, offering in-person and virtual sessions. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education, and holds various certifications and active membership with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Due to her experience and qualifications, Kelly offers a unique therapeutic perspective based on the convergence of mental and physical health. Working from a person-centred, trauma-informed approach, she helps clients embrace and explore their emotions, develop coping strategies and build the skills they need to tackle life’s challenges.
Kelly’s multi-modal approach to therapeutic intervention is uniquely developed for each client. She has a passion for working with a wide range of concerns from adolescence to older adulthood, including general women’s health, perinatal wellness, perimenopause/menopause transition, parenting/marital challenges, body image, chronic illness, anxiety, stress, trauma and managing difficult life transitions. With an extensive background in health, fitness, education and high-performance athletics, Kelly deeply values the reciprocal relationship between body and mind. She is currently accepting new clients for individual, couples, and group counselling services, and is able to offer 50- and 80-minute sessions at a reduced rate until she moves onto the College of Alberta Psychologists’ provisional register later this year.
Please contact the clinic or book yourself for a 15-minute consultation (this is an optional meet and greet, but not required prior to intake). Kelly is honoured to be a part of your healing journey!
Kelly looks forward to seeing you soon!
